REMINDER: Hepatitis A Sitrep/Vaccine Activity Due February 21st

The monthly hepatitis A sitrep/vaccine activity report is due to the CHECC by Noon tomorrow, February 21st. Send the report to checcdeptcoor@michigan.gov


REMINDER: Submit Contact Information Form Anytime There are Staff Changes

EPCs are reminded to submit a revised 24-7 Contact Information Form anytime your agency has a change in the following positions: health officer, public information officer (PIO), finance officer, EPC supervisor, assistant EPC, etc.


CME Credits Offered at the Great Lakes Homeland Security Conference

BETP Welcomes New HPP Section Staff

BETP welcomes two new staff members to the HPP Section: Eric Pratt, is the Information System Sharing and Exercise Planning Specialist; he can be contacted at PrattE2@michigan.gov, 517-335-8797 and Victoria (Tori) Arnold is the Volunteer Management Analyst; she can be reached at ArnoldV@michigan.gov, 517-335-8268. Before joining the HPP Section Eric was the hazard mitigation officer at the Michigan State Police Emergency Management Homeland Security Division. Tori comes from the American Red Cross and has experience in volunteer management.


State PFAS Readiness Plan to be posted to the MPART website

The Michigan PFAS Readiness Plan was approved and will soon be posted to the MPART website. This plan offers considerations and ideas local health departments can use as they update their emergency operations plans.
