CHECC PFAS Activation

The State Emergency Operation Center (SEOC) and MDHHS Community Health Emergency Coordination Center (CHECC) have been activated for the current Parchment PFAS Contamination-Water Contamination response. Updates and information regarding the response are available on MICIMS – incident “2018-07-26-Parchment PFAS Contamination-Water Contamination / Shortage” and www.mi.gov/pfasresponse.


August 2018 EPC Call – Cancelled

The August 9, 2018 EPC call has been cancelled in lieu of an upcoming statewide PFAS call that will be announced later this month.


CDC August Second Wednesday Webinar

CDC will present its next Second Wednesday Webinar from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM EDT on August 8, 2018. August’s presentation will cover planning considerations for working with refugees in the community and will feature a speaker from the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Louisville’s Global Health Center.

LHD Staff Change
