The exercise plan for the annual MISNS SharePoint request site drill scheduled for March 21, 2018 is linked below. LHDs are encouraged to modify and expand upon the exercise plan to meet specific jurisdictional exercise objectives and goals. Furthermore, Appendix B: Operational LHD Objectives provides suggestions on objectives that could be included in the exercise to help meet MCM ORR requirements.
Similar to previous years, this drill will test local-to-state SNS request procedures utilizing the MISNS SharePoint request site. On March 21, the exercise will begin with a MIHAN alert to the LHD EPC and Health Officer groups indicating that the CHECC will begin accepting "ongoing" SNS requests. Participants will be able to submit requests any time between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM EST through the MISNS SharePoint request site at http://mirequest.org/SNS.
