District 1 Regional Medical Response Coalition (D1RMRC) is pleased to announce the "16th Annual WMD/CBRNE Symposium “Preparing on All Fronts: A Community Approach to Preparedness", being held at on the campus of Michigan State University at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 8:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Complimentary continental breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m.
D1RMRC will host national speakers from:
- Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas on the 2017 mass shooting incident response
- Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center recent response to hurricane’s Irma and Matthew
- Joint Commission on Best Practices and Lessons Learned from surveys across the nation
- A legal and personal perspective on “Community Response to the Opioid Crisis”
- Western Michigan University Children’s Trauma Assessment Center on the Trauma Informed Approach for Victims of Human Trafficking
