City of Detroit Launches New E-Bidding System – EUNA Procurement (Bonfire)
City of Detroit, Michigan sent this bulletin at 11/03/2025 10:51 AM ESTDear Vendor,
The City of Detroit’s Office of Contracting & Procurement is excited to announce the launch of our new e-bidding system, EUNA Procurement (Bonfire), a modern platform that makes it easy and intuitive to find and respond to opportunities with the City.
All new procurement opportunities will now be posted through EUNA starting November 10th, replacing the City’s Oracle bid submission process. This system provides a streamlined, fully electronic experience for vendors to view opportunities, submit bids or proposals, and receive award notifications. The City will continue to use Oracle for activities once the bid is awarded - for contracts, purchase orders (POs), and invoicing.
Note: Opportunities posted in Oracle prior to November 10th will continue to be managed and responded to through Oracle. Please expect a ~30-day transition period during which you may need to check both Oracle and Bonfire for active opportunities. Pre-qualified demolition bids will continue to be managed in Oracle until January.
Get Started Today
1. Register your organization (free and easy):
- Visit detroit.bonfirehub.com
- Only one person per organization should register first; this person will then invite additional team members afterward. This prevents multiple records for your organization.
- Select your commodity codes (NIGP codes): When registering, choose the codes that best describe the products or services you offer. This ensures you will receive automatic email notifications for relevant opportunities.
2. Explore open solicitations: Once registered, you can view open bids, download bid documents, and submit responses.
Why EUNA?
EUNA simplifies the bidding process by providing:
- An intuitive user-experience for viewing and submitting bid responses
- Real-time confirmation of bid submissions
- Transparent communication and document sharing
- Streamlined evaluations and award notifications
