  • A report on the Detroit Land Bank Authority NAP and Buy Back process.
  • The following property sales:

  • A $1,478,200 contract increase to Exercise a Renewal Year for Municipal Parking Department to Support Electronic Parking Application.
  • A $25M contract for construction on segments of the Joe Louis Greenway.
  • Report submitted for all donated assets accepted to improve existing City of Detroit parks and facilities for Calendar Year 2024, Quarter 2.
  • A petition of PAXAHAU Inc. to hold "2025 Movement Electronic Music Festival" at Hart Plaza beginning on May 24, 2025.

    • 5968 Seminole.
  • An emergency demolition contract with Adamo Demolition Company for 431 S Harbaugh with basement backfill.
  • A $63,000 contract increase with Randy K. Lane, P.C to assist with the annual audit CAFR for DDOT.
  • An ordinance to amend the city code to create misdemeanor offenses that mirror state law.
  • An ordinance to amend the city code to provide a buffer zone between individuals exercising free speech and individuals seeking medical treatment.
  • A request for an ordinance to ban advertising marijuana on billboards.
  • A request to accept and appropriate the FY 2025 Neighborhood Wellness Centers Grant for a total amount of $117,330.
  • A request to accept and appropriate the FY 2024 Safe Routes to School Grant for a total of $2,274,129.
  • A request to accept and appropriate the FY 2025 Medical Reserve Corps Grant for a total amount of $33,500.
  • An ordinance to amend the city code to prohibit the sale of dogs and cats by pet shops.
  • A resolution recognizing September 9-13 as Construction Suicide Prevention Week.

How to watch and participate in City Council meetings

Attend online at detroitmi.gov/Online-CC-Meeting or by phone by calling one of these numbers 929-436-2866, 312-626-6799, 669-906-6833, 253-215-8782, 301-715-8592, or 346-248-7799, and entering meeting ID 85846903626##

To make public comment, please 'raise your hand' using the following instructions:

  1. Telephone participants: Raise your hand by pressing #9
  2. Web participants: Raise your hand by clicking raise hand in the application or pressing

  3. Public Comment can also be submitted via email to CCPublicComment@detroitmi.gov.

  • You will be called on in the order in which your hand is raised
