If you are experiencing a water-shut off, you could be eligible to restart your water through the duration of the COVID-19 ("coronavirus") outbreak.

COVID-19 Call Center Are you a healthcare provider who may have a COVID-19 positive patient or an individual who suspects you have COVID-19? Call the Detroit Health Department(313) 876-4000, to receive guidance on next steps. The call center is operational 24 hours a day.
If you have been in direct contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, then you should self-quarantine for 14 days from the time of the exposure. Direct contact generally means being within 6 feet of the infected person where you may have been subject to coughing, sneezing, or close contact.
If you have been in direct contact with someone who has symptoms of COVID-19 and is being tested, then you should self-quarantine until the results of the test have been confirmed.
Secondary contact:
If you have not had contact with the COVID-19 patients, but someone close to you has, you are considered to have secondary contact. If your only contact has been secondary contact, it is not recommended that you self-quarantine. A person who had secondary contract should see a doctor promptly if you develop symptoms of fever, cough, or shortness of breath.
Public use of City facilities
Individuals experiencing a fever or coughing are asked to not visit city offices until their symptoms have passed. If an individual visiting a city facility is exhibiting these symptoms, they may be approached by medical staff
City Council
There will be a discussion on COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in the Public Health and Safety Standing Committee meeting on March 16 at 9AM at the Coleman A Young Municipal Center, 13th floor.
