- Department of Housing and Urban Development awarded over $9 Million to the City of Detroit to protect families from lead and other home health hazards.
- The City will address lead hazards in 450 housing units providing safer homes for low and very low-income families with children.

- Block Grant, CDBG, and City funding to develop and provide a single family strategic plan for the Housing and Revitalization Department (HRD).
- . Establishment of a Secondary Street Name in honor of Reverend Roland Arthur Caldwell at the intersection of W. Warren Avenue and 28th Street.
- The Michigan State Housing Development Authority and the State Historic Preservation Office awarded the City of Detroit Historic Designation Advisory Board with the FY2019 Certified Local Government Program Grant.
- This grant will allow the hire of a contractor to develop a stabilizing and mothballing plan for 26 building at Fort Wayne. The State is paying for 90% of the contract, and the City is required to match the remaining 10%.
