City of Detroit, Michigan sent this bulletin at 09/20/2019 09:00 AM EDTCome out and support Detroit youth at "The Fate In Our Stars" this Saturday, September 21st at Straight Gate International Church! The Fate In Our Stars is an event to showcase the dreams of Detroit, brought to you by Give Merit and the FATE Program. This youth-driven interactive experience, established by students, will be held to encourage, inspire and empower Detroit’s youth & talent to achieve their dreams. This fun-filled event will have family-friendly games and activities, including a 3-point contest & skills challenge for anyone to enter, a youth shark tank business competition, and a celebrity basketball game, but most importantly will help us give back to the city of Detroit.
Social Media star, Filayyyy will be in attendance, as well as, some of Detroit’s own highly impactful leaders, influencers and professionals such as Lieutenant Governor, Garlin Gilchrist and Ch. 4's Kim DeGiulio.
Tickets are $5 and proceeds from this event will go towards college scholarships and continued support of the FATE program’s initiatives.
