Map of the impacted area
DWSD reports that no customer should be without water service, but that residents may experience low water pressure until the main is repaired.
According to DWSD’s website:
DO NOT DRINK THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING IT FIRST. Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
This boil water advisory shall remain in effect until results from the sampling verify the water is safe to drink. The director of DWSD said this boil advisory will most likely be in effect until Thursday January 17th, but DWSD will notify customers when the boil water advisory has been lifted.
