City Council approvals:
- A historic district designation to create the new Cass-Henry Historic District, which gives the Historic Commission more oversight over any future demolitions of buildings in the area
- $2 million to support the Growing Detroit's Young Talent program through 2022. See how the program has improved school enrollment and graduation rates here
- Emergency demolitions: 5954 Cecil, 5962 Cecil and 2398 Cabot
- $1.4 million in federal & state funding to support the New Freedom Transportation Services Program, providing taxi trips for people w/ disabilities in Detroit, Highland Park & Hamtramck
