MDEQ Drinking Water Laboratory Holiday Schedule

We would like to inform you of our upcoming holiday schedule for the remainder of 2017 and beginning of 2018. The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality’s (MDEQ) Drinking Water Laboratory will be closed on the following State of Michigan holidays.

                  Friday, November 10, 2017                                                           

                  Thursday & Friday, November 23 & 24, 2017                            

                  Friday & Monday, December 22 & 25, 2017                              

                  Friday & Monday, December 29, 2017 & January 1, 2018      

                  Monday, January 15, 2018                                   

                  Monday, February 19, 2018

To better serve our customers, we recommend sending samples to the laboratory at least three days prior to any holiday. This is one way to help ensure your samples are received and accepted for compliance under Michigan's Safe Drinking Water Act.

Please be aware samples for Surface Water and Long Term ESWTR (BLT2) testing will not be accepted if received on the day before any Holiday.
