Michigan Coastal Zone Management Program

FY 2018 Funding Opportunity

 

The Office of the Great Lakes’ Coastal Zone Management (CZM) Program is pleased to announce the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for projects that protect Great Lakes coastal resources by contributing to the development of environmentally, economically, and socially vibrant coastal communities.

 

Scenic Coastal Boardwalk“This program provides vital grant funds to help coastal communities become more resilient, protect their unique ecosystems, and develop their economic opportunities,” said CZM Program Manager Ronda Wuycheck.

 

Grant funds are made available by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, pursuant to the CZM Act of 1972. The CZM Program anticipates $700,000 in grant funds will be available in the 2018 funding cycle. Complete applications must be postmarked, or hand-delivered, no later than December 16, 2016.
