Grower Registration and Processor-Handler License Renewal

MDARD has received several inquiries recently regarding the timing and process for renewing existing hemp grower registrations and processor-handler licenses.

 

Please be advised, existing 2019 grower registrations and processor-handler licenses will expire at midnight on November 30^th.  Current licensees will receive 2020 registration and license renewal packets approximately 60 days in advance of this expiration. These packets will be mailed to the mailing addresses listed on the 2019 applications and will contain the necessary forms and instructions for renewing.

 

Applications to renew existing grower registrations and processor-handler licenses shall be postmarked on or before November 30^th.  Renewal applications submitted after November 30^th are subject to a late fee of $250.

 

Currently registered hemp growers and licensed hemp processor-handlers who do not receive their 2020 renewal packets by October 15, 2019 should contact MDARD Customer Service at 1-800-292-3939 (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
