A New NEOGOV Exam Process Coming Soon!

NEOGOV Header

Effective November 1, 2013, the CS-1706 form (Adding Names to Applicant Pools for Examinations Already Taken and Passed), will no longer be used.  Employees and applicants will apply through NEOGOV to add classifications to their applicant pools if they have active scores from the Administrative Support, Corrections Supervisors, State Police Sergeants, and State Police Lieutenants examinations.  The Exam Plan Number will be 1999-13-ADDING.

All processes for Civil Service examinations will now be in NEOGOV.  Please recycle all paper applications and forms as they will not be processed, and advise all affected staff of this change. Web links will direct users to the NEOGOV posting.

Additionally there is new functionality in NEOGOV to capture the approved tested classifications on the applicant’s master profile. There will now be an additional field titled “OCSC Qualified Classifications (Tested):” where results from these reviews will be listed. This new field will also be completed on applicants beginning November 1st.  For any additions after this date, the master profile will be updated with all eligible classifications and levels, including those currently on the ZP22. The ZP22 is considered the official record and will continue to house all previous and future results as well.

It should be noted that employees and applicants cannot use this posting to extend test scores that will expire; they must apply to take the exam again.  Employees can view their test scores and expiration dates in their Self-Service Account.
