Military Leave: Revised Supplemental Pay Processing Job Aid and Website Documents

All HR Offices were recently notified of the Revised Supplemental Pay Processing Plan for Military Training Days, effective October 1, 2013.

The HRMN Job Aid: “ Processing a Military Leave” has been revised on the HRMN Learning Center.

Additionally, all the military documents on the Michigan Civil Service Commission Internet Website “Military Leave” have been revised and are now available, http://www.michigan.gov/mdcs.

This website provides an introduction page and seven documents:

2. FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions

3. Military Leave Processing – Definitions and Directions For Employees

4. Employee Responsibilities

5. Military Service PRIOR to Hire (Explanation of the service credit towards Longevity: CS Regulation 5.05 )

6. Revised Supplemental Pay Procedures for Military Training Duty, effective October 1, 2013

7. Supplemental Pay Processing Schedule for Employees on Full-time Active Duty Assignments

Please refer HR staff to these documents for current military information for state employees absent from work to perform military service.
