CEPI applications and MI School Data will undergo maintenance on:
- Sunday, Sept. 29 from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. EDT. (While unlikely, there may be service interruptions during this 24-hour window.)
- Sunday, Oct. 6 from 6 a.m. to noon EDT. (Intermittently offline.)
Only limited informational inquires will be available during these times.
MSDS is offline for system maintenance until the morning of Monday, Sept. 23 in preparation for the 2024-25 school year. Please plan accordingly. UIC services via the Michigan Data Hub remain available.

- Oct. 2: Fall pupil membership count date

- Nov. 13: Recertification deadline
- Fall 2024 Early Childhood
- Reporting Period: Beginning of program year through Oct. 31
- Oct. 29: Data quality checks performed on data submitted before this date
- Nov. 13: Certification deadline
The Special Education Transportation Expenditure Report (SE-4094) and Special Education Actual Cost Report (SE-4096) are closing soon.
ISDs will submit their own and all constituent district forms by:
- SE-4096: Sept 30
- SE-4094: Oct. 7

CEPI is hosting a REP Navigation Training webinar on Oct. 14, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. for new REP users who need help navigating the system. This includes information on the requirements for the REP submission and how to use the system.

Statewide attendance among Michigan students increased to 90.8% in the 2023-24 school year, a 0.3% increase from the prior year. This is the second year in a row that attendance has improved. Chronic absenteeism declined in 2023-24, with 21,160 fewer chronically absent students than in 2022-23.
