System Maintenance: CEPI Applications and MI School Data

CEPI applications and MI School Data will be intermittently offline for maintenance on Sunday, Sep. 1 from 6 a.m. to noon EDT. Only limited informational inquires will be available during this time.

FID Opening Sept. 3

The Financial Information Database collection opens Sept. 3. Please view CEPI's FID web page for support materials. Visit MDE's website to view the Michigan Public School Accounting Manual.

Recent FID changes to be aware of:

• Dual Enrollment Expenditures are submitted in the expenditure upload file with object code 3720 dedicated to Dual Enrollment Tuition Paid to Postsecondary Institutions, and 3730 for Early Middle College Tuition and Fees Paid to Postsecondary Institutions.
• During the 2023-24 FID collection, all expenditures coded with function codes 21x and 22x will receive a warning if there is not a valid school code assigned. The following FID collection year, a valid building code will be required for these function codes.

Nonpublic School Personnel Report Opening Sept. 1

The Nonpublic School Personnel Report opens Sept. 1. For additional resources, please visit the Nonpublic Schools web page. The collection closes on Dec. 1.
