System Maintenance: CEPI Applications and MI School Data

CEPI applications and MI School Data will be intermittently offline for maintenance on Sunday, June 2 from 6 a.m. to noon EDT. Only limited informational inquires will be available during this time.

CEPI MDE Collaborative Employment Data Webinar

On May 20 at 12:30 p.m., MDE and CEPI are hosting a joint employment data webinar. This webinar will include intermediate level issues of the employment data submissions within the REP application.

FID Budgetary Assumptions Collection Open June 3

The Budgetary Assumptions Collections opens in the Financial Information Database on June 3. The Michigan Department of Treasury will be contacting districts soon to inform them if they are required to report. Districts required to report will have until 11:59 p.m. EDT July 7, 2024 to complete their submissions.

Support material is posted on the FID web page where you can find the Budgetary Assumptions User Guide. For questions about submitting data in FID, contact CEPI customer support (cepi@michigan.gov). For program and policy questions, contact Samuel Irrer with Treasury (irrers4@michigan.gov).

Postsecondary Trends for Michigan High School Students

Did you know Michigan high schools can learn about the postsecondary trends of former students with the Postsecondary Reports by High School on MI School Data? CEPI updates the following reports each year with details about enrollment rates, remedial coursework and other metrics.

  • The number of Michigan public high school graduates who enrolled in a college or university within 48 months of graduation is shown in the College Enrollment by High School report.
  • The College Enrollment Destination report shows which colleges and universities Michigan public high school students enrolled in within 48 months of high school graduation.
  • Students' progress in postsecondary education is shown in the College Progression by Graduating Class report.
  • College Remedial Coursework shows the number of Michigan public high school graduates who took at least one remedial course after enrolling in a Michigan college or university the year after graduation.
  • The On-Track College Progress report shows the time Michigan public high school graduates take to earn 24 college credits.
  • The Postsecondary Student Data File lets logged-in users view student-level information on college enrollment, coursework, cumulative credits, program and award information, and GPAs for students from in-state and out-of-state colleges and universities. This report is only available to users with secure access.

MI School Data Updates

Visit MI School Data to view updates to the Postsecondary Success Rates report and the Parent Dashboard.

Special Education Annual Public Reporting data have been updated in preview, and will be publicly available within a week. During the preview period, secure users can navigate to the report under Special Education > New Annual Public Reporting.
