Through Thursday, March 14, districts may resubmit Section 25e requests that meet all of the following criteria:

  1. The request was previously denied by the ISD auditor.
  2. The ISD auditor requested that the district resubmit the request with corrected information.
  3. The initial request was submitted prior to Feb. 14.
  4. The As Of Date, Enrollment Date and First Day in Attendance are prior to Feb. 14.

Timely REP Reporting and Effectiveness Evaluations

In support of school safety and Michigan educator workforce needs, the Michigan legislature amended Michigan Compiled Law 388.1619 (3) to gather school employment data in a more timely manner. Districts are required to update personnel changes within 30 days of a staffing event. Districts are not required to have educator effectiveness evaluation data submitted to meet this 30-day requirement.

To meet the requirement, updated records must be entered in the REP and free of any fatal errors (marked with a red stop sign icon).

Are Your EEM Records Up to Date?

Have you had any changes in your district or school entities since the beginning of the school year? If so, it is important that the Educational Entity Master be updated to reflect these changes. Please make any appropriate updates in the EEM by Feb. 6.

Please refer to the Are Your EEM Records Up to Date memo for further information.
