MI School Data News

Research has shown that attendance during the early years of school is one of the keys to academic success. The K-3 Absenteeism and Early Childhood Participation report shows attendance rates for K-3 students who participated in different early childhood programs, including GSRP, GSRP/Head Start Blend, Head Start, Early Head Start, Early Childhood Special Education and Early On®. CEPI has updated the report with data from the 2022-23 school year.

The Continuity of Service in Special Education reports have also been updated with 2022-23 data. These reports (Service Comparisons and Service Pathways) help us understand the early intervention and special education services being provided to Michigan children from birth through 3rd grade, including the number of children receiving services and when they began receiving those services.

See details of this update and upcoming reports on the MI School Data News and Updates page.
