Switching schools in the middle of the year can be hard on students, both academically and socially. Research cited in Education Week found that high rates of student mobility can also hurt students who stay enrolled at the same school throughout the year.
CEPI has updated the Student Mobility report in MI School Data with data for the 2022-23 school year. This report lets you see student mobility counts for different schools, districts and the state of Michigan. You can also explore and compare rates for different student groups.
