TheRide route 609 to detour starting 1/30/12

AATA DETOUR/DISRUPTION INFO:
DEXTER AV IN ANN ARBOR
Scheduled dates: Monday, January 30, - February 3, 2012

A construction project is expected to close eastbound Dexter Av between Maple Rd and Jackson Av starting January 30th. As a result of the closure, route 609 buses headed to the U-M Hospital will be detoured. Notices have been posted at affected stops along the route.

Please note that any detours or times listed here may be subject to change as construction and/or traffic conditions change.

Route 609:
To UM Hospital:

  • Stop missed: Dexter Av, east of Maple Rd
    • Nearest stop in service: Maple Rd, south of Dexter Av (rt 12A stop on west side of street near Plum Market)
  • Stop missed: Dexter Av, east of Lyn Anne Ct
    • Nearest stop in service: Maple Rd, south of Dexter Av (rt 12A stop on west side of street near Plum Market)
  • Stop missed: Dexter Av, east of Worden Av
    • Nearest stop in service: Jackson Av, east of Worden Av (rt 9 stop on south side of street near Hillside Terrace)
  • Stop missed: Dexter Av, west of Grandview Dr
    • Nearest stop in service: Jackson Av, opp Grandview Dr (rt 9 stop on south side of street)
  • Stop missed: Dexter Av, east of Wildwood Av
    • Nearest stop in service: Jackson Av at Kenwood Av (rt 9 stop on south side of street)

Riders can also use stops on the north side of Dexter Av to catch buses headed to the Miller Rd Park-&-Ride lot which then turn around to head back into the UM Hospital area.

Riders parking at Veterans Park can use the Miller Rd Park-&-Ride lot as an alternative.
