Parks & Crafts + Community Service Saturday, Oct. 12, 10 a.m.-noon at Gallup Park, 3000 Fuller Road. Join us for a family litter pick-up event and Ecology Center craft project! GIVE 365 is hosting this morning of community service, zero-waste awareness and a recycled craft project. This is a free, drop-in style event open to all ages. GIVE 365 staff will be leading a volunteer opportunity and litter collection event just right for youth and first-time volunteers, as we need your help to keep Gallup Park beautiful. Recycle Ann Arbor will be hosting a zero-waste station for sorting our trash and becoming a recycling and composting champion. In addition to the community service opportunity, the Ecology Center staff will lead a recycled glass lantern project. All activities will be ongoing. GIVE 365 Volunteers wanted! Trick-or-Treat on the Huron River, Sunday, Oct. 13, 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at Gallup Canoe Livery, 3000 Fuller Road. We are looking for volunteers who love to dress up for Halloween and to be by the water. If that is you, come help hand out candy during our Trick-or-Treat Paddle around the Huron River! Each station will have a theme, a treat and our wonderful volunteers truly creating this experience. If you are interested, sign up here to choose your shift time and station. We will supply the costumes for the fun and spooky experience! Volunteers will meet at Gallup Canoe Livery and will be assigned to different locations along the river.
