Incident Command System: Intermediate/Advanced (ICS300/400)
March 6 – 8, 2018

The Maine Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) will be conducting an incident command system course for command and policy level first response personnel. This 2-day course is designed for a multidiscipline organization and staffing, incident and event planning/staffing, organizing a response to an incident or audience of persons who would likely serve as supervisors in an ICS structure. Topics include planned event and incident resource management. The course includes group activities, a tabletop exercise, and a final exam. This program is intended for middle management and command staff personnel.

Students must attend the ICS 300 to qualify for ICS 400 per course design. ICS Advanced is not being offered as a separate course which is normally 1.5 days.

Target Audience: All senior full time command level emergency responders and specialty personnel responsible for developing Incident Action Plans for expanding incidents should complete this course. All students will have completed up to NIMS ICS 200 (Basic) prior to taking the course. Copy of certificate must accompany application.

MEMA Training will present the course along with other State Agency Adjuncts.

Course Location: The course will be held at the Best Western Inn in Waterville. The course venue is located at 375 Main Street in Waterville. Classes will run from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Lunch and breaks will be provided. All other expenses are the responsibility of the student.
