This Thanksgiving, I’d like to personally acknowledge how much of a blessing, responsibility, and privilege it is to serve as your State Representative. I am tremendously grateful for the opportunity to be your voice as a member of the Maine State Legislature, and wish you and your family the very best this holiday season.

President Ronald Reagan’s 1981 Thanksgiving Day Address:

“Thanksgiving has become a day when Americans extend a helping hand to the less fortunate. Long before there was a government welfare program, this spirit of voluntary giving was ingrained in the American character. Americans have always understood that, truly, one must give in order to receive. This should be a day of giving as well as a day of thanks.”
