We’re Transitioning to a NEW IIS – Help Us Name It!
We’re excited to announce that the Maine Immunization Program (MIP) will be transitioning to a new Immunization Information System (IIS) to replace ImmPact in the coming year.
We’re inviting you to help us choose a name for the new system by submitting your ideas through this quick survey: Name the New Maine IIS Survey.
The name should be:
- Easy to say and remember
- Professional
- Either an acronym or a short, memorable title
Note: The new system cannot be called “MEIIS”
Examples of State IIS Names:
- California – California Immunization Registry (CAIR)
- Texas – ImmTrac2
- New York – New York State Immunization Information System (NYSIIS)
- Florida – Florida SHOTS (State Health Online Tracking System)
- Illinois – I-CARE (Illinois Comprehensive Automated Immunization Registry Exchange)
- Washington – WA IIS (Washington Immunization Information System)
- Colorado – CIIS (Colorado Immunization Information System)
- Virginia – VIIS (Virginia Immunization Information System)
- Michigan – MCIR (Michigan Care Improvement Registry)
- Ohio – OHIIS (Ohio Health Immunization Information System)
