The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention has convened state-wide partners and community members to develop a State Health Improvement Plan (SHIP), based on the 2022 Maine Shared Community Health Needs Assessment (SCHNA), and to identify priorities for collective action. The priorities in this SHIP were selected as most important based on the criteria of Burden, Equity, Impact, Feasibility, and Opportunity for Collaboration/Engagement.
Here is a list of the final draft content for the SHIP (PDF). This content is organized by priority area and objective. Additional information is on our website
Please read through the SHIP Executive Summary, goals, objectives, and strategies in the PDF and then click on this survey link. Respond to questions after each priority area snapshot by 5:00 PM on July 12, 2024.
Please forward this to others who may want to provide feedback. We will use comments to help finalize the SHIP. Thank you in advance for your feedback!
