Attention child care providers and caregivers: Maine ECCP® is available to support YOU!
Healthy social-emotional development lays a foundation for strong mental health. Making friends. Waiting patiently. Caring for others. Resolving conflicts peacefully. Managing emotions. Following the rules. These are all examples of social and emotional skills that children learn gradually over time – with the support of caring adults like you! It takes a village to support our youngest Mainers develop these important skills and the experts at Maine ECCP® are here to help.
Maine ECCP® is a no cost infant and early childhood mental health consultation program now available across Maine for early childhood education providers, public schools, and afterschool programs who serve children 0-8 years old.
Maine ECCP® offers onsite coaching, support, staff education, and focused consultation to early childhood educators and programs to support emotional development and effectively manage challenging behavior.
