This week’s newsletter features jobs with employers taking part in Maine’s Back-To-Work program, as marked with a double asterisk **. This program helps employers to pay $1,500 to eligible workers who start jobs between June 15 and June 30, and $1,000 to those who start work in July.
There are some rules for a worker to be eligible for an incentive payment, such as having received Maine unemployment benefits at least for the week ending May 29. Workers must also take jobs at a minimum of 35 hours per week, and must keep those jobs at least eight weeks, earning less than $25 per hour.
Employers featured in this newsletter are just a sample of those taking part in Back-To-Work. Whether you are unemployed or not, Maine employers have rarely been as eager to hire you as they are right now! Good hunting.
