The Don't Miss!

The Re-Employment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program has returned!  This CareerCenter premier service program provides Unemployment Insurance (UI) claimants who qualify with opportunities such as one-on-one coaching and relevant services to help you on your reemployment journey. If selected, your participation in the RESEA is required for you to continue receiving unemployment benefits.

The Department of Veterans Affairs has begun accepting applications for a new GI Bill program designed to train eligible veterans for high-demand jobs.

The Veteran Rapid Retraining Assistance Program, or VRRAP, offers up to 12 months of cash payments to eligible veterans who enroll in approved job training programs that lead to associate degrees, technical degrees or certificates.

If you are out of work, need job training, or need to brush up on your skills, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program may help you. The WIOA funds a variety of employment and training programs for youth and adults in various levels of services depending on needs and eligibility.

Apprenticeships combine a full-time job with training—and prepare workers to enter in-demand careers. More than 90% of apprentices remain employed after completing their program and their pay starts on day 1.  To find apprenticeship opportunities that match your interests and skills, visit the new Apprenticeship Finder on Apprenticeship.gov
