MAINE JOBLINK NEWSLETTER FOR JOB-SEEKERS

The Maine Department of Labor CareerCenter staff will be unavailable on December 24 and 25 however, the Maine JobLink and the Maine CareerCenter website will be available at www.mainecareercenter.gov for self-service. Our phone and Live Chat services will resume at 8:00 Monday morning December 28. We extend our best wishes for safe and happy holidays for you all.
The purpose of this weekly newsletter from your CareerCenter is to draw your attention to job opportunities, hiring events, and job fairs in Maine, and to encourage you to search the Maine JobLink for jobs that you might like. Maine JobLink and the CareerCenter system are services of the Maine Department of Labor. Examples of available jobs appear below first, followed by job-search and related information.

Creating and Navigating Your Maine JobLink Account: This free workshop demonstrates how to create and navigate a personalized jobseeker account, and is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-3 p.m. and Wednesdays from 9:30-11 a.m. Pre-registration is required. Call 1-800-760-1573, or email careercenter@maine.gov to reserve your spot.
Resume Workshop: This free workshop will demonstrate how to create a winning resume, and is offered on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required. To reserve your spot, email careercenter@maine.gov and type “Resume Workshop” in your subject line.
