Do you enjoy shooting and firearms?  Like working with people?  Would you like to contribute to a safe shooting environment in Southern Maine?

MDIFW needs your help!

The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife and the Fryeburg Fish and Game Association are searching for volunteers to help monitor public use of the shooting range on the Major Gregory Sanborn Wildlife Management Area in Fryeburg.

Eligible volunteers must have previous firearms experience, have or be willing to obtain training as a range safety officer, and submit to a background check.  The Department will cover the costs of NRA Range Safety Officer training for the right candidates.

For more information or for a copy of application materials, please contact the Fryeburg Range Facility Coordinator, Jim Holt at jimholt@roadrunner.com.
