North Woods Law Day at the Maine Wildlife Park is September 24!
Join us at the Maine
Wildlife Park, Route 26, Gray, on Saturday, September 24,
from 9:30am – 11:30am and 1:00pm-3:00pm!
September 24th is National Hunting and Fishing Day; so Maine Department of Inland
Fisheries and Wildlife staff will be on hand with a variety of hands-on and
interesting fisheries and wildlife exhibits. www.nhfday.org
Visitors
to the park will have the opportunity to meet several of the Game Wardens who
have appeared on North Woods Law, and a couple of their k9 partners, to learn
more about them and their jobs! There will be special items for the kids,
autographs will be signed, and make sure to bring your cameras to have photos
taken with the stars! The Warden Service Dive Trailer, Airboat, UTV, and
the Operation Game Thief Wall of Shame will also be on display.
The Maine Warden
Association t-shirts and hats will also be available for purchase, and for
autographs! Friends of the Maine Wildlife Park will be hosting a benefit BBQ
with dogs and burgers too!
There
is no extra fee for this special event, however regular Maine Wildlife Park
admission fees will apply.
Remember, on
Saturday morning, September 24, from 9:30-11:30am; and then in the afternoon
from 1:00pm-3:00pm, meet several of the North Woods Law Maine Game
Wardens who will be available for
photos and autographs.
