Agricultural Trades Show

The 2020 Maine Agricultural Trades Show occurs Tuesday, January 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday January 15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursday, January 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Augusta Civic Center, Augusta Maine.

The Resource Room is located in the Cumberland Room, first floor.
Visitors can tour exhibit tables and gather information, as they meet staff from state agencies who work with farmers, land owners, food producers, municipalities and others in Maine agriculture.

10:00 -11:00 A.M. – Are you a Maine livestock and/or poultry producer?
You’re invited to meet the newly hired staff joining the Department’s Animal Health team! We’ll introduce the livestock specialist, and assistant state veterinarian. Come for an informal meet and greet as staff provide answers to frequently asked questions about livestock and poultry farming in Maine and share informational handouts. Noon-1:00 P.M. – Are you curious about farming in Maine’s unorganized territories?

2:00 -3:00 P.M. – Looking to learn more about selling to institutions? Seeking Information about marketing opportunities for Maine farm products?
Attend this informal meet and greet with the Department’s Ag Resources team. We’ll introduce newly hired staff, take farmer questions about selling to institutions, and review opportunities aimed to help Maine farmers enhance their current marketing and promotional efforts.
