Based on his successful record of service to the County and passionate advocacy for our youth, Edward was selected to serve in the Office of Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Aisha Braveboy. An integral member of the Braveboy team, Burroughs was assigned to lead the youth court division and develop innovative ways to steer our young boys and girls away from the criminal justice system and into programs to empower their futures. State’s Attorney Braveboy most recently appointed Edward to his current position as Director of Legislative Affairs where he plays a key role in the development of crime prevention policies to keep our communities safe.
