Happy New Year District 8 Neighbors,
We made it through 2020 and turned that chapter in our lives. Many have questions about the vaccine, so this Orange Alerts is solely dedicated to information on the vaccine. Here are a few facts:
- The County is currently in Phase 1A of its Covid-19 vaccine distribution plan.
- The designated Phases are: Phase 1A, Phase 1B, Phase 1C, Phase 2 and Phase 3 (Prince George's County link below provides breakdown of each phase for your convenience).
- Each new phase will begin when the current phase meets its targeted goal, and vaccine supply will drive how long each phrase takes.
- When vaccine doses are in greater supply in Maryland, individuals wishing to get vaccinated need to register for an appointment at a clinic listed at https://www.marylandvax.org/
- Currently, there are no public vaccination clinics available in Prince George's County.
