Program Meeting

Join the Prince George's Chamber of Commerce for a webinar on Friday, August 21st from 10-11am to learn more about this critical program.

The webinar will be joined by representatives from the Maryland Department of Labor, Governor’s Workforce Development Board and employers utilizing the program who will provide attendees with an overview on both employer and employee benefits, requirements, and next steps for participation.

Maryland Nonprofit Recovery Initiative (NORI)

Application Deadline Extended to

September 1, 2020

The State of Maryland has extended the application deadline for the second round of the Maryland Nonprofit Recovery Initiative (NORI) and will accept applications until Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 5:00 PM.

Eligible nonprofit organizations can receive up to $50,000 in grant assistance for operational support. The second round expanded eligibility to allow nonprofits of any size and with budgets over $5 million to apply for assistance.

State Applies for Extra $300 a Week in Federal Unemployment Benefits

Maryland Matters

Marylanders who are unemployed due to the COVID-19 pandemic may soon be getting an additional $300 a week in federal assistance after additional benefits expired last month.
