Dear Subscriber,

Today the Maryland Port Administration determined that the connecting bridge inside the Port of Baltimore that leads from the Dundalk Terminal to the Seagirt Terminal would be taken out of service for truck traffic effective immediately today, May 29 due to advanced deterioration.  The bridge was currently undergoing a programmed rehabilitation project. Trucks will still be able to reach the Dundalk and Seagirt terminals as normal by entering their main truck gates.   The bridge will remain operational for personal vehicles.  The Maryland Port Administration is Serious About Safety as the safety of the men and women who work at the port is paramount.  The Maryland Port Administration will work as quickly as possible to reopen the bridge to truck traffic when it is fully confirmed safe to do so.
