The Maryland Port Administration (MPA) is pleased to share the second annual publication of our Sustainability Report that showcases our commitment to bold innovation, demonstrable progress, and collaborative partnerships.
We believe that a sustainable port delivers economic prosperity through trade, maintains a healthy environment, and enables thriving communities through meaningful dialogue, shared aspirations, and collective accountability. We continue to be proud of, and grateful for, the hard work of our employees, tenants, and business and community partners.
This report highlights our comprehensive sustainability programs and it documents the progress we’ve made on accomplishing our long-term goals. Our goals and results reflect the direction and values of Governor Moore, the Maryland Department of Transportation, MPA Executive Director Jonathan Daniels, the Maryland Port Commission, and the commitment to stewardship excellence demonstrated by MPA’s employees.
As Governor Moore has stated: "In Maryland, we aren't going to choose between building a competitive state and a sustainable one -— we will do both." We are excited to share our progress and thank you for your continued support of our environmental and sustainability programs.
