Setting of Port Condition – NORMAL / OPEN

From U.S. Coast Guard Sector Maryland:

Situation: At 10 p.m. Eastern Time yesterday, Coast Guard Sector Maryland-National Capital Region (NCR) Captain of the Port (COTP) will return the Port Condition to NORMAL for State of Maryland waters of the Chesapeake Bay, the western approaches to the Chesapeake and Delaware (C&D) Canal, the portion of the C&D Canal within Maryland, the Potomac River, Ports of Baltimore, Washington D.C., Annapolis, Salisbury, and Ocean City. The port and navigable waterways will be open for all traffic.

Monitoring: All vessel and facility operators are urged to remain vigilant for and report storm-related debris in the federal channels as well as any aid to navigation discrepancies to the Sector Maryland-NCR Command Center at (410) 576-2693 or 2525.
