Dear Subscriber,

As you may be aware, there have been confirmed cases of e.coli bacteria found in the water in areas of Baltimore. As a result, the Baltimore City Department of Public Works has issued a Boil Water Advisory for parts of West Baltimore.  We are not located in the areas identified by the Baltimore City Department of Public Works in their Boil Water Advisory.  However, out of an abundance of caution, we are taking proactive measures and are currently testing our water at both the World Trade Center and our Port of Baltimore public marine terminals.

As soon as those results are final, we will update you and disclose next steps if necessary.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

William P. Doyle
Executive Director
Maryland Port Administration
