New RTG’s Transiting Through Seagirt Marine Terminal – Possible Delays

Dear Subscriber,

Please be advised that effective January 30, 2018, the additional RTG (Rubber Tired Gantry) equipment will be arriving.  Therefore, Ports America Chesapeake has provided an illustration of a planned route and the affected areas for the drivers.  Please see below and the attached from Ports America:

 “Between Tuesday Jan 30th and Thursday Feb 1st we will be moving the 6 new RTG’s from  Berth 1 to their point of rest in 00L row in the RTG pads.  During this time there will be rolling road blocks that could slow trucks getting into their location in the yard. We will attempt to keep truck delays to a minimum during this transit. Thanks for your continues support.  Ports America Chesapeake”
