Dear Subscriber,
Ports America Chesapeake will
open Seagirt Marine Terminal on Saturday, January 27th from 6:00am to 1:00pm
(last truck accepted at 12:00 noon).
1. Hours: 06:00-13:00, last truck accepted at 12:00
noon.
2. Staffing: Sufficient top loaders will start
at 06:00am to ensure the timely dismount of inbound empties and exports.
All (14) RTG’s will start at 07:00am for import deliveries and will work until
finish.
3. Inbound Grounding: Adequate space will be
provided prior to 06:00am start in order to expedite drivers to import rows.
4. Demurrage: Saturday will be a free day for
boxes with a last free day of Friday, 01/26/18 and Saturday will be a free
day for all boxes not already in demurrage.
