Ride On Prepares for Inclement Weather with Reduced Service; Flash Routes Will Be Serviced By Smaller Buses
Due to the anticipated heavy snow and ice event, Ride On will be operating a reduced Sunday Schedule on January 25, running only essential routes between the hours of 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Flash Orange will operate limited service and utilize 40-foot Ride On buses, which provide better traction on snowy roads, instead of the standard Flash-branded 60-foot articulated buses. Riders should anticipate possible service delays and detours.
Routes in service are as follows:
Please be advised that we will be monitoring weather conditions throughout the day and if snow accumulations become unsafe for us to operate, we may need to terminate service early to ensure the safety of our riders and staff. The safety of our riders and staff is our top priority. In the event of excessive snowfall, buses and riders may be at risk of being stranded. We will closely monitor the weather and provide timely updates throughout the day via social media, our website, and email notifications to our GovDelivery subscribers.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we work to provide safe and reliable transportation during this winter weather event.
