Ride On Public Forum on Introduction of a New On Demand Service, Flex Route 918, will be held on Monday, December 8
The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT), Division of Transit Services, is proposing the introduction of a new on demand service, Ride On Flex Route 918.
Ride On Flex Route 918 will provide peak period on demand transit service to the Ednor, Sandy Spring, Norwood, and Cloverly communities, as well as New Hampshire Avenue between Maryland Route 108 and the White Oak Transit Center. Montgomery County hereby notifies the public and other interested parties that a public forum will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, starting at 6:30 p.m. and ending after the last speaker. The forum will be held at White Oak Middle School, 12201 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20904.
Individuals and representatives of organizations who would like to speak at the public forum are requested to furnish in writing by email, on or before December 4, 2025, their name, home address, telephone number, e-mail address and organization to Division of Transit Services, Ride On Public Forum at mcdot.rideonpublicforums@montgomerycountymd.gov. Individuals who have signed up to speak must provide a printed copy of their testimony for the record by December 4, 2025. Sign language and Spanish interpreter services will be provided only upon request with notice as far in advance as possible but not less than 3 business days prior to the date of the forum. All comments will be considered before any changes are finalized.
