Can you feel the change coming? Not only is it getting cooler, but kids are already back in school, there are more buses on the roads, and federal tax credits are expiring. The tax benefits for electrifying your car (September 30, 2025) and home and going solar will be ending before you know it (December 31, 2025).  You can find more information about all of the changes in our blog post about the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBA).

If you’re serious about making money moves, do not wait until it is too late.

Oh, and if you don't want to spend a lot, guest writer, Teri Silver, recently submitted an article to help Montgomery County residents cut their energy bills with simple home upgrades.

👩🏽‍🌾 There are Climate Smart Farms in Montgomery County! The Montgomery County Food Council and Montgomery County Green Bank announced the winners of Montgomery County Climate Smart Farms Awards. These awards offer local farmers a jump start into climate smart practices on their farm. Each farmer pitched their ideas to reduce their own farms’ vulnerabilities and respond to the “new norms” of climate change and extreme weather events. At the same time, projects awarded showed how they would minimize farm impacts on climate change, to prevent worsening climate change and pollution.
