DEP would like to hear from you!
Students in a senior communication course at the University of Maryland are working with DEP on a project to assess County residents’ views on EVs, and have prepared an online survey questionnaire we invite you to complete by next Friday, April 19. Questions include information about you, your news and social media preferences, and your thoughts and views on EVs and the issues surrounding them.

Ride N' Drive Electric Earth Day at the Clarksburg Premium Outlets

Experience the future of driving at the Ride N' Drive event at the Clarksburg Premium Outlets, open to residents and the general public. Sheehy Ford, Rivian, and Tesla are eager to offer test drives, giving you a firsthand experience at the latest in electric vehicle (EV) technology. Additionally, a nearby condominium boasts six Level-2 charging stations, and the Clarksburg Premium Outlets feature six DC fast charging (DCFC) stalls. This is a perfect opportunity for attendees to explore and experience EV charging capabilities.

There will be two EV sessions at the 2024 Energy Summit. On Day 1, DEP will present on process and incentives for install EV charging at your property. On Day 2, an expert panel will discuss how and why to prepare your property for electric transportation.
