Special Secretary Maria Martinez Visit

Special Secretary Maria Martinez from Governor Wes Moore’s Office of Small, Minority, and Women Business Affairs visited the Office of Procurement on Wednesday October 18, 2023. ChallengHER Event: October 24, 2023

ChallengeHER is a national initiative to boost government contracting opportunities for women-owned small businesses.  The Office of Procurement hosted an exhibit table and participated in matchmaking sessions at this event in Silver Spring, MD.

The Business Relations and Compliance team will also attend the Ft. Myer Construction Small Business Roundtable on October 25 and the Asian American Business Summit on October 27.

LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES - click on "Your business may be eligible for the Montgomery County Local Small Business Reserve Program (LSBRP) " to see if your business meets our LSBRP requirements. If so, apply to the LSBRP and gain access to the 25% of eligible procurement dollars reserved for LSBRP-certified firms.

To be considered for participation in the MFD subcontracting program, a firm must be certified by one of the five agencies:
