NEW THIS YEAR: Did you know the largest lithium and cobalt mines are in America’s junk drawers?
Bring your old cellphone and laptop batteries and drop them in official Redwood Materials collection boxes to be recycled to make new Electric Vehicle batteries.
For more information about the event, to volunteer (no EV experience necessary/SSL hrs available) or register your EV (to show or not), go to Poolesville.Green/NDEW.
Earlier this year, DEP surveyed the public about community EV charging. Nearly 600 respondents provided input on how Montgomery County should expand publicly-accessible EV charging, including what locations, charging experiences, and help is most valuable. Learn more about survey results on My Green Montgomery.
The specific locations that were recommended are plotted on this Interactive Map. Select "Community EV charging Site Suggestions" from the layer list in the upper right corner.
